Product Overview
This Duplex Mixed Bed Ion Exchanger is a large-scale industrial deep desalination water treatment equipment designed specifically for continuous stable water supply demands of large manufacturing factories, industrial parks, and large-capacity production lines. Unlike single-tank mixed bed units that require shutdown for resin regeneration, this duplex dual-tank configuration employs dual standby switching operation mode. While one tank operates in purification state, the other completes regeneration, flushing, and standby conversion independently without system shutdown. The equipment utilizes high-performance mixed anion and cation resin to thoroughly remove residual soluble salts, hardness substances, and conductive impurities in pre-treated water, enabling 24-hour uninterrupted deep desalination water supply.
Working Principle
After treatment by conventional RO pretreatment system, qualified low-conductivity water enters the duplex mixed bed ion exchanger. The two mixed bed tanks employ intelligent alternate operation logic. During normal operation, one mixed bed handles continuous water purification while internal mixed ion exchange resin fully adsorbs and removes residual salt ions and hardness components. When resin adsorption capacity reaches saturation, the system automatically switches water supply to the standby mixed bed tank to maintain uninterrupted output. The saturated tank independently completes automatic backwashing, resin regeneration, and positive washing procedures before entering standby state for the next cycle. This automated cyclical operation ensures zero interruption of large-flow industrial water supply and long-term stable deep desalination.
